FREEMAN / MELBOURNE RESIDENCE

This project is a LEED Silver certified residential addition. The existing portion of the home was converted into an artist studio above and garage below and the freestanding addition becomes the new main residence. A bridge connects the old and the new. An angle of six degrees was an inspiration for this modern residence and was carried throughout.

This “AWARD WINNING” McLean home was our first LEED Residence. This project resulted in a LEED Silver Certification and is a truly remarkable residence. We had an extremely talented team including WDG, SAI Contractors, Price Consulting Engineers and many others.
