Celebrating Excellence: Tiffany Smith Earns Prestigious Reserve Specialist Designation at ASG

It’s with great pleasure that Architectural Support Group announces the recent designation of Tiffany Smith as a CAI-designated Reserve Specialist (RS). The Community Association Institute awards the RS designation to qualified reserve specialists after years of experience and training. Thus far, only 450 individuals have been granted this designation.

A Reserve Study is a detailed financial analysis outlining all components that must be maintained by the Condominium or Homeowners Association. Each study is performed in accordance with the Community Association Institute (CAI) National Standards. Per the CAI, reserve study professionals aim to give client association boards the tools to anticipate and prepare for repairing and replacing their communities’ common elements. A stable and reliable reserve component list is necessary from year to year, association to association, and provider to provider.

Tiffany came to ASG with many years of experience as a property manager. She also works as the office manager at ASG, assisting with many important financial and office management tasks ensuring that ASG continues to run as a well-oiled machine. Tiffany was fortunate to start her Capital Reserve Study training under the guidance of retired ASG principal Stanley Sercen, Reserve Specialist number 20, who assisted in writing the reserve study guidelines and continuing her training under Michael Daly, RS, and current managing principal of ASG. Combining all this training allows Tiffany to approach Reserve Studies from multiple vantage points. This leads to a thorough study that balances the necessity of addressing the capital reserve components with sensitive strategies for how communities can achieve and maintain their reserve funding goals.

Please join me in congratulating Tiffany Smith on their well-deserved RS designation! We are so grateful to have her on the team.
